National Bank of Greece – 2026 Annual Retail Meeting
The Brief
For yet another year, Leoussis_a was entrusted with the creative design and full production of the National Bank of Greece’s Annual Retail Meeting, the institution’s most important internal leadership gathering, bringing together branch directors and senior network executives from all over Greece.
As always, the event focused on reviewing the achievements and performance of 2025, presenting strategic priorities for 2026 and strengthening the connection between leadership, teams and organizational vision. Beyond information sharing, the Bank wanted this year’s event to feel more inspiring, more human and more unexpected than previous editions.
The Challenge
Branch directors are not simply operational managers. They are leaders, motivators and the people who translate strategy into everyday action. Our challenge was to create an event experience that recognized and celebrated their contribution, empowered them emotionally and professionally and reframed leadership in a more contemporary, human and inspiring way.
At the same time, the event needed to move away from the typical corporate conference format and become more meaningful, participatory and emotionally engaging — without losing entertainment value or energy. The experience had to balance inspiration and strategy, emotional depth and corporate messaging, interaction and structure, seriousness and surprise.
The Creative Idea
The event was built around the central message: “The future belongs to our best selves.”
Starting from the idea that the true strength of a bank lies in its people, we designed the entire experience around leadership itself leadership styles, human connection, empowerment, resilience, empathy, teamwork, vision, and personal growth
.
The creative direction combined humor, emotional storytelling, interaction, unexpected moments and references to historical leaders who transformed their teams and organizations.
A Fully Integrated Event Experience
One of the key ambitions was to move away from passive corporate presentations and transform the meeting into a more engaging, human-centered and participatory experience. Instead of conventional panels, we introduced live dialogues between teams, workshop-style interactions, dynamic conversations and formats focused on collaboration and leadership in action, turning the event from a one-way communication platform into a shared experience centered around inspiration, reflection and authentic engagement.
At the same time, maintaining a strong entertainment rhythm remained essential. Through the selection of a unique moderator and keynote speaker, AI-generated video storytelling, immersive visuals, emotional and humorous moments and dynamic pacing between presentations and films, the event balanced substance and energy while keeping the audience emotionally and intellectually engaged throughout the entire experience.
The Result
The 2026 Annual Retail Meeting evolved from a traditional corporate gathering into a leadership-centered experience focused on empowerment, recognition and inspiration.
Through strategic storytelling, experiential design and a cohesive creative direction, Leoussis_a created an event that successfully combined emotional impact, participation and entertainment while celebrating the people behind the Bank’s success.
More than a conference, the event became a unified leadership experience — one that left participants feeling stronger, recognized and more connected to both their teams and the future vision of the National Bank of Greece.
