Suzuki e Vitara – Launch Campaign for Suzuki’s First Electric SUV

The Request

Suzuki assigned Leoussis_a with the launch campaign of the new eVitara — the brand’s first fully electric vehicle. Βut the eVitara was not designed to be “just another EV.”
It carried Suzuki’s authentic off-road DNA and true 4×4 character, combining rugged adventure with electric mobility. The campaign needed to introduce this new era for Suzuki while communicating a key paradox in an emotionally powerful way:

 

An electric car that still belongs in nature.
An EV that can truly go off-road.

The launch was developed as a full 360° campaign across TV, radio, digital and social platforms.

The Challenge

Most electric vehicle campaigns focus on urban life, futuristic technology and sustainability messaging. The eVitara required a very different positioning:

  • adventurous rather than clinical
  • emotional rather than technical
  • and nature-driven rather than city-centric

The challenge was to communicate that the eVitara:

  • can go far beyond the road
  • preserves Suzuki’s adventurous spirit
  • and at the same time represents a more environmentally conscious way to explore the world

The Insight

The eVitara does not enter nature as an outsider. Nature welcomes it. Because unlike traditional vehicles, this new generation SUV feels closer to the environment it explores. The car becomes part of the landscape itself — not an intrusion into it.

This emotional thought became the heart of the campaign

The Idea

We created a celebratory cinematic narrative where nature itself welcomes the arrival of the new Suzuki eVitara. Mountains, forests and the animals that inhabit them, seem to respond to the vehicle’s presence almost ceremonially, transforming the launch into a symbolic meeting between technology and nature.

 

To reinforce this uplifting and emotional atmosphere, we used Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” as the musical foundation of the campaign — giving the film a sense of celebration, optimism and arrival. The music elevated the storytelling from a product launch into a statement:
the future of adventure has arrived.

The Execution

Leoussis_a developed the campaign across:

  • TV
  • radio
  • digital  
  • social media
  • and supporting communication assets

The main TV film was born entirely through extensive post-production work, combining cinematic landscapes, dynamic editing and atmospheric sound design to create a visually immersive launch experience. Despite being executed solely through post-production, the craft and execution elevated the creative idea so effectively that the final result achieved a truly cinematic and high-impact outcome, fully delivering the emotional and celebratory vision of the campaign.

The Result

The campaign successfully positioned the Suzuki eVitara as an electric SUV with authentic off-road spirit and emotional depth.

 

By framing the vehicle as something nature itself embraces, the launch differentiated eVitara from conventional EV communication and introduced Suzuki’s electric future through a powerful, adventurous and optimistic lens.
